Why We Started
Samson Engineering was founded by Kevin Eudy to solve a problem he saw firsthand. With nearly 20 years of experience across field work, operations, project management, and sales, Kevin understands the pressure contractors face when deadlines are tight, backlogs build up, and dependable design support is hard to find.
That experience shapes how Samson works: clear communication, practical design support, and code-compliant drawings built to help contractors move projects forward. We are not a general engineering firm trying to serve everyone. We focus on fire alarm and fire sprinkler contractors because that is where we do our best work.
What We Bring To Your Projects
Samson Engineering designs fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems using AutoCAD and FireCAD, built to NFPA 72, NFPA 13, NFPA 13R, and NFPA 13D standards. Every set of drawings is produced with permitting, AHJ coordination, and field installation in mind.
We work with contractors on fire alarm system design including device layouts, riser diagrams, and complete submittal packages. We also provide fire sprinkler system design including hydraulic calculations, head layouts, and coordination drawings. And for contractors who need a second set of eyes, we offer fire protection consulting including scope review, code interpretation, and design coordination.
